JAMMU, Nov 22:
Two persons were killed while eight others seriously injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and feel into a deep gorge in Kathua district of Jammu region today.
The passenger vehicle was on its way to a village when it fell in the gorge in Bani area of Kathua, a police official said.
Two persons died on the spot and eight injured were rushed to hospitals.
“The accident occurred in a remote area with very little phone connectivity. That is why it took time for the information to reach us, but as soon as we came to know about the accident, recuse operation was immediately launched,” the official said. (AGENCIES)
