RAJOURI, June 22: The police recovered two male bodies from Nowshera and Saranoo area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that dead body of one Ramesh Chander (58), son of Anand Sharma, resident of Ward No. 1 Nowshera was recovered from a nallah about 300 mts away from his house today. A passers-by notice the body and informed police. A police party rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
The victim was missing since June 20. The family members said that he had gone for a walk in the evening and did not return. After long search a missing report was lodged with local Police Station. He was an employee of State Health Department and presently posted as store-keeper in Nowshera hospital. The police registered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, an unidentified dead body was recovered by police from a nalla in Saranoo area of Rajouri today. A villager found the body lying in the nallah and informed police. The body was later shifted to Rajouri Hospital for postmortem. A message was flashed to other police stations in the district to establish identity of the deceased.
