RAJOURI, Apr 3: Dead bodies of an elderly woman and an ex-serviceman were recovered from Nowshera and Taryath area in district Rajouri today.
Police said the dead body of 70-year-old Janaki Devi, wife of Badri Nath, resident of Hamjana village in Nowshera was found lying in a nallah today. She was missing for the last few days and the family was looking for her. The police shifted the body to hospital for postmortem and started investigation under Section 174 CrPC.
The dead body of ex-serviceman, Mulakh Raj, son of Sain Dass, resident of Taryath in Kalakote was also found lying in a nallah today. Some people noticed the body and informed police. The police has started inquest proceedings into the mysterious death.
