KATRA, May 23: In separate incidents, two elderly male devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi died because of cardiac arrest, here today.
Reports said that a devotee, namely Om Parkash (72), son of Ram Nath of House number 248, Street no -3, Sec 25-B, Dashmesh Colony, Fatehgarh, Sahibagarh Punjab died after he suffered a massive heart attack near Baan-Ganga. He, along with the family members, was on way to the base camp Katra after paying obeisance at Maa Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
Another male devotee namely Basant Patil (67), son of Antu Patil of Sainik Takoli, Kohlapur Maharashtra suffered heart attack and died soon after reaching Katra from the Bhawan.
