Srinagar, Dec 31: Two persons died, while two others were injured in a collsion between two cars in Handwara in north Kashmir today.
A police spokesman said a Santro car JK09A-1634 and a Bolero cab JK01S-6491 collided at Gund Kohroo in Handwara.
Two persons Abdul Rashid Lone, son of Ghulam Ahmad of Mandgam, Zoona Begum, wife of Ghulam Ahmad died on the spot, while Basit Ahmad Bhat of Mandgam and Shakeel Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Ahmad were seriously injured.
Both the injured were shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment, the spokesman said, adding police has registered a case in this accident.
