Srinagar, Apr 2: Two persons died and three others were injured in various road mishaps in South Kashmir today.
Police said a Sumo bearing registration number JK03/5793, hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03B/6730, near Budroo, Anantnag, resulting in on spot death of Motorcyclist Gulzar Ahmed Ganie, 20, son of Abdul Razzaq resident of Budroo and injuries to pillion rider Tauseef Ahmed Shergojri, 22, son of Abdul Rehman resident of Budroo. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In other accident, an unidentified vehicle hit and injured a person Mohammad Ismail Dar, 45, son of Abdul Kabir resident of Peeru at Gulshan Abad KP Road, Anantnag, The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag, were from he was referred to SMHS, Srinagar, while he succumbed his injuries on way to hospital. Police said a case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Motorcycle driven by Moshin Amin sheikh, son of Mohammad Amin resident of Mehind Bijbehara and Wagon-R collided at KP Road Hutmurah, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist and pillion rider Nissar Ahmed Shah, son of Ghulam Ahmed resident of Kathsu Sallar. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
