2 die, 30 injured in Turkey bus crash

 

Ankara, June 9 : Two people were killed and 30 injured in a bus crash in eastern Turkey’s Van Province, Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported on Sunday.

The incident reportedly occurred early morning near the Kuskunk?ran tunnel on the Van Bitlis highway, when a passenger bus and a truck collided. The reason of the crash is not clear yet.

Rescue teams and medical personnel were dispatched to the area, the newspaper reported, specifying that the bus driver and one passenger died, while 30 sustained injuries, with four of them badly hurt.

The injured were taken to hospitals, and an investigation into the incident was launched. (Agencis)
