JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Sept 12: Two persons died of COVID-19 and 105 tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir today.
A 74-year-old man hailing from Dharra Bhaderwah in Doda district succumbed to COVID-19 taking Corona toll in Jammu region to 2168 and district Doda to 131.
Sixteen persons tested positive for the virus in Jammu including seven in Doda, three each in Jammu and Reasi districts and one each in Udhampur, Rajouri and Ramban districts. Rest of the districts didn’t report any fresh cases today.
Nineteen persons recovered from the virus leaving behind 225 active positive cases in the Jammu region.
The Union Territory of Ladakh today reported only one COVID positive case. Lone new case was registered in Leh district.
The UT of Ladakh now has 34 active positive cases including 30 in Leh and four in Kargil.
Meanwhile, one person died and 89 tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir division today.
