SRINAGAR, Mar 14: Two persons were killed in a road accident at Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening.
As per the reports the accident took place at Hamray on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway when a speeding truck bearing registration number JK05C- 6168 hit a car bearing registration number JK09 8208 resulting into death of two persons who were travelling in the car.
Police while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered in this regard and investigations have been taken up.
The deceased were identified as Aashiq Ahmed War son of Sonauallah War and Azad Ahmed Pir son of Mohammad Amin Pir, both residents of Nowgam village of Handwara in Kupwara district.
