Bhaderwah: Two persons died and another injured when their car skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
The deceased have been identified as senior pharmacist Rishi Kumar, who was posted at district hospital (DH) Doda, and Surjeet Singh, said SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir said. They were residents of Sharena Doda area.
Ajeet Kumar, who was injured in the incident, has been shifted to GMC Jammu, he said.
“The injured has been referred to GMC Jammu and the bodies of the deceased will be handed over to their relatives after legal formalities,” Shabir said.
The police has registered a case in this regard at Doda police station. “We are probing the incident,” the SSP added. (Agencies)
