KATRA, June 5: Chief Medical Officer Reasi, Dr Parminder Singh conducted a surprise visit at Community Health Center Katra and imposed fine on two Doctors among eight Health officials for not having proper dress code.
Two doctors were fined Rs 1000 while six other Health officials were imposed fine of Rs 500 each. CMO asked the medical staff to display their identity cards properly and maintain proper dress code during the duty hours.
CMO also directed Block Medical Officer Katra upon the segregation of the biomedical waste as per the norms laid down in the Biomedical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules and to keep the waste baskets in every area where the waste is generated.
