RAJOURI, Aug 2: Police arrested two drug peddler along with 550 gms charas from Jaglanoo area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kandi Police Station, today.
According to police, an information was received by SOG Post Draj that charas was being smuggled from Jaglanoo to Jammu. On this information, two drug peddlers were checked and during frisking police recovered 550 gms charas (packed in a white polythene quantity 16 challies) from their possession.
The accused were identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Jamil and Ahmdee, son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Mohra Draj.
The arrest was made by Mohd Younis, SHO- Kandi alongwith SOG party and Naib Tehsildar, Kotranka under the supervision of DySP Operations Iftkhar Ahmed on the direction of SSP Rajouri Dr Mohd Haseeb Mughal.
In this regard, case FIR number 49/2015 has been registered at Police Station Kandi.
Further Investigation is going on.
