REASI, Oct 9: In the continuous drive of tightening noose around drug mafia, Reasi Police apprehended two drug Peddlers from Kallah Morh, Simbal Chowa Reasi.
A team of Police, led by SHO Reasi, Inspr Ashwani Sharma, laid a special Naka at Kallah Morh Simbal Chowa and intercepted a Bolero JK20- 1633, which was on its way from Katra to Reasi. The said Bolero was being driven by Rakesh Kumar of Dassanoo, Reasi, who was accompanied by one Jeevan Lal of Aghar Jitto, Reasi.
During their personal search, 205 gms Charas like substance was recovered from the possession of driver Rakesh Kumar and 158 gms Charas from the possession of Jeevan Lal. Police arrested both the accused and seized the recovered Charas.
A case FIR number 180/2019, under section 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection against the accused persons at P/S Reasi.
