JAMMU, Nov 4: Jhajjar Kolti police arrested two drug peddlers along with 8.824 kilograms of poppy straw.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka near Suketar and intercepted a truck bearing registration number PB12Q-7186.
During search of vehicle, police team recovered 8.824 kilograms poppy straw and arrested two persons, who were identified as Brij Kumar, son of Dharam Pal and Jaideep, son of Harmesh Lal, both residents of Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 190/2020 under section 8/15/25/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and started.
