SRIANGAR, Sept 11: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Police today said to have held two drug peddlers in Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
Pattan police during routine patrolling at Hanjiwara intercepted two persons Abdul Rasheed Lone son of Mohd Subhan Lone resident of Hanjiweera Bala and Sayar Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rahman Bhat resident of Wagum Pulwama.
“During checking, police was able to recover 20 grams of Brown Sugar from their possession. They have been arrested and shifted to the police station where they remain in custody,” police said.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Pattan.
