UDHAMPUR, Feb 6: Udhampur Police arrested two drug peddlers from Jakhani area and recovered 25 grams of heroin from their possession, here today.
Reports said that during naka checking at Jakheni, a police party of Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Chaman Gorkha, intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BU-7299.
On frisking of bike rider Abdul Gaffor, son of Rashid Ali of Sidhra, Jammu and his pillion rider Bobi Kumar, son of Sham Singh of Sidhra, Police recovered 25 grams heroin like substance from their possession.
Police arrested both the accused and registered case FIR number 43/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS Act in PS Udhampur for further investigation.
