REASI, Dec 4: Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 3.31 gm heroin from their possession.
According to Police, one Kulbir Singh, son of Lt Rattan Singh, resident of Dharan, Tehsil Thakrakote was apprehended and from his possession, one gram heroin like substance was recovered.
In this regard, case FIR number 218/2023 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at P/S Reasi and investigation initiated to unearth the forward and backward linkages. During the investigation, a backward link was zeroed in and further raids were conducted in which main drug peddler namely Nasir Ahmed, son of Mohd Ghani of Badori, Bari Brahmana was arrested. 2.31 gm heroin was recovered from his possession.
The whole operation was led by SHO Reasi, Inspr Vijay Sharma under the supervision of Dy SP Hqrs. Reasi, Neeraj Padyar.
