UDHAMPUR, Mar 29: Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered a small quantity of heroin like substance from their possession, here today.
A team from Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Raghuvir Singh, apprehended two persons and recovered 2.64 grams of heroin like contraband substance from their possession.
The accused were identified as Mohit Sharma, son of Subash Chander of Tikri, Udhampur and Uttam Kumar Sharma, son of Kartar Chand of Mand A/P W.No 1 Subash Nagar Udhampur.
A case vide FIR No. 94/2025/ 95/2025 Under Section 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation was set into motion.
