KATHUA, Sept 21: Police arrested two drug peddlers and foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 7 cattle.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Kathua Police Station laid a naka on radio station road and arrested two drugs peddlers along with 10 grams of heroin.
The arrested persons have been identified as Anil Kumar alias Vicky, son of Sukhdev Raj and Ravinder Kumar alias Rinku, son of Ram Lubaya, both residents of Jalandhar Punjab.
Meanwhile, a team from Kathua Police Station while foiling bovines smuggling bid rescued 7 cattle and seized two vehicles.
Cases under relevant Sections stands registered in these regards with Police Station Kathua and further investigations into the case are going on.
