KATHUA, May 2: Bari Brahmana Police headed by Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SHO Bari Brahmana in close coordination with District Special Branch (DSB) Samba & under the direct supervision of Ashok Sharma, SDPO, Bari Brahmana during patrolling, intercepted two persons on suspicious ground from Telli Basti area of Bari Brahmana.
During frisking, 271 grams of ganja were recovered from their possession. The accused persons have been identified as Hari Singh S/o Mohan Lal and Badal Ram S/o Babu Ram both residents of Rajasthan A/P Telli Basti Bari Brahmana and were arrested on spot along with contraband items.
In this regard case FIR No. 81/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
Police said the arrest of the drug peddlers is a part of continuous drive against the menace of the drugs launched by District Police Samba on the directions of Anil Magotra , SSP Samba.
