2 drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Oct 29: Bhatindi police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhatindi Police Post laid a naka near Umar Colony and intercepted a Santro car.
During checking, police recovered 2 grams heroin from the possession of two persons traveling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ashiq Hussain, son of Rashid of Kulgam, at present Malik Market and Rajeshwar Manotra, son of Rajinder Kumar of Rehari.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Bhatindi Police Post SI Rakesh Roshan made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Parvaiz Sajjad, SDPO East Vipan Chandran, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
