2 drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, July 1: Miran Sahib police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station laid naka near Balole Bridge at Indira Nagar and intercepted a Wagon-R car.
During checking, police recovered 3 grams of heroin from the possession of two persons travelling in the car and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Neeraj, son of Satish Kumar of Nanak Nagar, Jammu and Lucky Choudhary, son of Om Parkash Choudhary of Greater Kailash, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 97/18 under Section 8/2l/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge SHO Miran Sahib Police Station Inspector Mohammad Showkat Choudhary and assisted by Incharge BPP Kullian ASI Yougal Kishore made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourab Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu Romesh Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
