UDHAMPUR, July 1: Ramnagar Police today arrested two drug peddlers and seized 13.44 grams of Heroin from their possession.
Reports said that during naka checking, Police stopped one vehicle, Alto car bearing registration number JK14H-5461, which was on way from Udhampur towards Ramnagar.
During checking, about 6.75 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of one person namely Abdul Razak, son of Abdul Qauoom of Keya, Tehsil Ramnagar and about 6.69 grams narcotic substance (Heroin ) was recovered from the possession of another person namely Ajay Kumar, son of Puran Chand of Jakheni Udhampur.
Both the accused persons were arrested on the spot and the vehicle as well as recovered Heroin were seized. On the basis of this, case FIR number 86/2022, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramnagar
The police party was headed by SHO Ramnagar Inspector Pushpinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Dr Bhishm Dubey.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
