2 drug peddlers arrested with 20 gms heroin

JAMMU, July 27: Janipur and Pacca Danga police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 20 grams heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pacca Danga Police Station led by SHO Inspector Naresh Sharma laid a naka and apprehended a drug peddler along with 10 grams of heroin.
The accused has been identified as Pankaj Sharma, son of late Balkrishan Sharma of Lakar Mandi Janipur, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 96/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Pacca Danga Police Station led by ASI Mohammad Latif during patrolling arrested a drug peddler near Dogra Hall and recovered 10 grams heroin from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Vinod alias Kudda, son of Joginder Pal, a resident of Dogra Hall, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 120/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation initiated.
