RAMBAN, June 3: Chanderkote Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police spokesman, a team from Police Station Chanderkote led by SHO Inspector Padam Dev Singh under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban Mohita Shama laid a naka and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 14 grams of heroin from the possession of the persons and arrested them.
The accused were identified as Mohd Saleem, son of Mohd Moosa and Maroof Hussain, son of Khursheed Ahmad, both residents of Dalwas.
A case FIR Number 103/2022 under section 8/21/29 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Chanderkote and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
