JAMMU, May 11: Jhajjar Kotli police arrested two drug peddlers along with poppy straw.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02R-8557.
During checking, police team recovered four kilograms of poppy straw from the vehicle and arrested two persons including driver.
The arrested persons were identified as Manmohan Singh, son of Balbir singh of Gole Gujral District Jammu and Rakesh Kumar, son of Krishan Lal of Pounichak District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 87/2020 under section 8/15 NDPS has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
