REASI, Mar 27: Police apprehended two drug peddlers and seized heroin like narcotics from their possession, here last evening.
The accused, identified as Arun Sharma, son of Parshotam Sharma of Ward Number 3 , Reasi and Mohd Arif son of Hasan Din of Bagga , Mahore A/P Ward Number 7 Reasi, were intercepted by SI Gurvinder Singh along with police party was during naka duty at Kala Morh Reasi.
The duo was on way from Katra to Reasi on a vehicle bearing registration number JK02 BQ 9199. Even as they tried to flee, Police chased them and apprehended. During their search, heroin like substance was recovered from the left pocket of Arun Sharma which was found wrapped in a silver foil kept in a Capstan cigarette packet while a similar packet and stuff was recovered from the possession of Mohd Arif.
In this connection case FIR Number 68/2018 under Section 8/22 NDPS Act was registered for further investigation.
