2 drug peddlers held with 29 gm heroin

JAMMU, Feb 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed on Monday that they have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered from their possession 29 grams of heroin.
A police spokesperson said that one Nishan Singh of Amritsar was arrested by a team of Police Station Bahu Fort with 21 grams of heroin while as one Farooq Ali of Bishnah was arrested with 8 grams of heroin by a team of Police Station Bishnah.
“Both the accused have been booked under the relevant sections of the law and further investigations taken up,” said the police spokesperson.
