RAJOURI, Dec 9: The police arrested two drug -peddlers and recovered 385 grams of heroin from their possession here today.
Accused have been identified as Mohammad Arif, son of Mohammad Ikhlaq Khan, resident of Dabbi in Balakote, Poonch and Mohammad Asif, son of Mohammad Khalil, resident of Samattee, Challas in Doongi area of Rajouri.
Police said that a team headed by Incharge Police Post, Rajouri, SI Danish Maqbool and SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani under the supervision of DySP hqrs Rajouri, Vinod Kumar, during patrolling in Tandwal Thandikassi area of Rajouri, intercepted two pedestrians moving u der suspicious circumstances.
During their frisking, 385 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession after which they were arrested on the spot.
Police informed that a case under relevant Sections of law has been registered and investigation launched into the case.
