POONCH, July 28: The police arrested two fraudsters along with stolen cash from Pooch area today.
Official sources said that today a woman namely- Diksha Sudan, wife of Abhishek Uttam, Ward No 8, Poonch appeared in Police Station Poonch and gave a written complaint regarding ATM card swapping that happened on July 23, 2023 and cash Rs 40,000 was stolen fraudulently by the fraudsters.
In this connection , a case FIR No.113/2023 U/S 420/379 IPC was registered at PS Poonch and investigation of the case entrusted to PSI Sushant Singh. During investigation the police team with the help of some technical and human inputs identified accused and launched a manhunt to apprehend them.
After hectic efforts, the accused namely Mohd Shabir, son of Zakir Hussain, resident of Mangnar Poonch and Kiran Sharma, son of Joginder Sharma from Talab Tillo, Jammu were arrested and Rs 33,000 out of the stolen amount was recovered from their possession.
