RAJOURI, July 10: Excise team today conducted raid at several places in district Rajouri and seized large quantity of lahan and illicit liquor and also arrested two persons in this connection.
Official sources said that Excise team led by Insp Mohd Parvez, under the supervision of ETO Farooq Choudhary, conducted raids at Baja Bain, Hanjana, Narian, Chhatri, Pata Lam, Kali Dab and Dabber area and recovered 400 kg Lahan and 20 bottles of illicit liquor.
The team destroyed Lahan on the spot. Two persons arrested were identified as Jia Lal, son of Balak Ram, resident of Baja Bain and Balbir Singh, son of Nanak Singh from Hanjana.
