JAMMU, Apr 6: Two drug peddlers were arrested with 47 grams of heroin-like-substance from Udheywala area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a party of police station Pounichak led by incharge Police Post PSI Vijay Kumar under the command of SHO Domana, Inspector Arun Prakash Sharma, stopped two suspects for checking while patrolling at Udheywala.
On search of the suspects, he said, 47 grams of heroin-like-substance was recovered from their possession.
Police have accordingly arrested and booked the drug peddlers identified as Farooq Ahmed of Kokernag, Anantnag and Mohammad Kamran Sheikh of Link Road, Kishtwar under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Domana.
