RAJOURI, Aug 23: The police has arrested two persons along with a consignment of narcotic substance in Rajouri area.
Sources said that a police team headed by SHO Rajouri, Insp Fareed Ahmed and assisted by PSI Salman-ul-Din intercepted two persons on motorcycle bearing Registration No. JK11F- 1665 who were found smuggling consignment of narcotics.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohd Kabir, son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Darhaj and Nazir Hussain, son of Mohd Shah, resident of Kotdhara in Rajouri. They were found in possession of 36 grams of heroin.
Both the persons have been arrested and a case FIR No. 445/2022 U/S 8/21/22/25/29 NDPS Act stands registered. Further investigation of the case is going on.
