RAJOURI, July 21: Two persons were injured when a car rolled down into a gorge in Manjakote area of district Rajouri this evening.
A police spokesman said at around 6.30 pm, an Alto car bearing registration No. JK11B/5863 which was on way to Rajouri from Manjakote, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Katarmal on Rajouri-Poonch highway. Two persons on board, were rescued by the locals of the area and police and were removed to Rajouri hospital for treatment .
They have been identified as Liaqat Hussain (33 yrs), son of Mohd Hussain and Mohd Khalil, son of Sakhi Wilayat, both residents of Manjakote. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
