UDHAMPUR, Feb 29: Two persons were injured after a scooty collided with a car in Chenani area of Udhampur this evening.
Reports said at about 5:45 pm a scooty bearing registration No. JK02BM-3116, driven by Surinder Singh, son of Dev Ram from Gouri Kund in Tehsil Chenani, on way to Chenani was hit near Prem Mandir, Dharmthal (NHW) by a car bearing regd. No. JK13H-0338. It was being driven by Mohd Iqbal Wani, son of Ghulam Mohd Wani from Algar Kandi, in Tehsil Rajpura of district Pulwama.
Both scooty driver Surinder and pillion rider Ashok Kumar, son of Chandu Ram from Gouri Kund in Chenani got injured and shifted to CHC Chenani for treatment.
On this, a case FIR No. 32/2024 U/S 279/337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Chenani.
