2 hurt in clash over land dispute

POONCH, June 6: At least two persons were reportedly injured when a group of men attacked them with sharp edged weapons at Hawali, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Mandi last evening.
Reports said Imtiaz Qureshi, son of Mohhamad Shafi and Mohammad Latief, son of Abdul Kareem, resident of Seri Chowhana, were attacked by a group led by Zahid Hussain alias Ameen and his four sons, namely Imtiaz Ahmed, Akram, Irfan and Imran.
A disputed piece of land is known to be the motive behind the attack. Both the injured received serious head injuries and were admitted to District Hospital Poonch from there doctors referred them to Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu for advance treatment. An FIR No. 42/13 has been registered by police.
