POONCH, Sept 28: Two youth were seriously injured after their bike was hit by a Tata Sumo vehicle in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that a Sumo bearing registration number JK12/ 3425 hit a motor-cycle at Karnah village in Nakka Majari area of Gursai police jurisdiction today. Two boys riding the bike were seriously injured.
The police shifted the injured to Mendhar hospital where doctors referred both of them to GMC Hospital, Jammu after providing preliminary treatment. They are identified as Akhtar Bejoor-19, son of Mohd Sharief and Farhan Mehmood (18), both residents of Karnah in Gursai. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
