SRINAGAR, Oct 14:
Alert troops overpowered and arrested two militants immediately after they sneaked into this side from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) in Tangdhar sector, a Defence Ministry spokesman said here tonight.
He said based on specific intelligence inputs, Army established cordon and surveillance points near Line of Control (LoC). The infiltrators were challenged and overpowered by the troops.
One pistol, two magazines, ammunition and Identity Card issued by PoK authorities were among the various items recovered from the militants.
The militants were handed over to local police, the spokesman said. (UNI)
