MENDHAR, May 6: Two persons were injured when an air tank installed at a tyre repairing shop got burst at Bhatadurian in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that the air-filling tank at a shop of tyre- repairing exploded with big bang causing injuries to the shopkeeper and another person at Bhatadurian village on Mendhar- BG Road today.
The injured are identified as Zaffar Iqbal (26), Mohd Nisaar and Mohd Kurshid (30), son of Feroz Din, both residents of Jaranwali Gali. Zaffar received severe injury in his right arm, where as, Kurshid sustained head injury.
The injured were immediately shifted to Government Primary Health Center, Bhatadhurian and after providing first-aid were referred to GMC, Rajouri in view of their serious condition. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
