2 injured as truck falls from bridge

NOWSHERA, Dec 3: Two persons were injured when a truck fell down from bridge in Sunderbani area of district Rajouri this morning.
Official sources said that a truck/dumper, bearing registration No. JK14E/4831, was on way to Rajouri from Sunderbani side. When it reached Thandapani bridge, on main Jammu-Rajouri highway, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell down from the bridge into the Nallah.
The driver of the vehicle and his helper were injured in the mishap and they were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sunderbani by the locals and police. The doctors further referred them to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
They were identified as Kabir Ahmed, son of Bag Hussain from Darhal and Salam Hussain, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Palma in Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
