NOWSHERA, Oct 24: Two persons were injured in a group clash at village Baja Bain in Sunderbani area this afternoon.
Police said that two persons namely Inder Pal Sawhney and Karan Sawhney ( Kannu) were injured when members of two families had clash over a land dispute at Baja Bain. One R D Sawhney ( Ram Shah) started construction over a piece of land in Khasra No. 1 while other party led by Sindu Bharti, son of Retd ZEO Hem Raj objected to the construction work. Both sides had heated exchanges followed by clash in which two members of Sawhney family were injured and admitted to Sunderbani hospital. One of them was later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. Police has taken cognizance of the matter.
