2 injured in bear attack, airlifted to GMC

KISTWAR, Aug 12: In man-animal conflict, two nomads were seriously injured after a bear attacked them at Keebar nullah.
Police spokesman said that, two nomads namely Mohd Yousuf, son of Imtiaz Hussain of Baggar and Mohd Farid, son of Mohd Hussain of Basholi, were grazing cattles at Keebar nullah, when the bear attacked them, causing grievous injuries to both.
The duo were shifted to district Hospital Kishtwar, where their condition deteriorated further and they were airlifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for specialised treatment.
