MENDHAR, Apr 25: Two persons were injured when their bike met with an accident in Mankote area of Mendhar Sub Division in district Poonch late this evening.
Official sources said that mishap took place at around 8.30 pm on Tuesday when both riding on a motorcycle No. JK-12C/5531 were on way to Chhajla from Mendhar. The rashly driven bike slipped and met with an accident near Chhajla village. Both the riders were injured in the mishap.
They were removed to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar. They were identified as Firdous Ahmed (20), son of Mohd Sageer and Wajid Ali (25), son of Mohd Javed, both residents of Chhajla. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
