2 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Feb 8: A 70-year old man and a minor boy were injured in two separate mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Mohd Yaseen (13) son of Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Mahore in Reasi district, was hit and injured by an auto at Indira Chowk when he was crossing the road. The injured child was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
In another road mishap, a pedestrian identified as Gopi Krishan (70) son of Mukand Ram, a resident of Muthi received injuries after being hit by a bike at Muthi. He was also shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
