2 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Sept 18: Two persons were injured in different road accidents at village Jaghanoo and Manwal in district Udhampur.
Driver of a truck sustained serious injuries when his vehicle rolled down in a deep gorge near Manwal bridge. The truck, bearing registration number JK05D-7288, was on way from Kashmir to Delhi when it met with the accident. Locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to Udhampur District Hospital. The injured was identified as Reyaz Ahmed (26) son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Sopoor Kashmir.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, one Girdhari Lal (55), son of Mani Ram of Tanal Udhampur, sustained serious injuries when he fell from a moving mini bus near Jaghanoo. He was taken to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his serious condition.
