2 injured as truck plunges into gorge

BHADERWAH, Oct 6: Two labourers were injured, when the truck from which they were unloading the deodar stems turned turtle and plunged into gorge, here today.
As per police sources, two labourers identified as Talab Hussain (52), son of Mangtu and Jahangir (45), son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, both resident of village Thanala, were unloading deodar stems from the truck bearing registration number JK02H-2467.
The truck suddenly turned turtle and fell into 100 feet deep gorge, causing injuries to both the labourers.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, from where Jahangir, who received head injury, was referred to District Hospital Doda for advanced treatment.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
