DODA, Apr 26: Police booked two inmates of quarantine centre for violating DM’s order pertaining to COVID-19 pandemic.
As per police sources, yesterday late night some inmates started coming out of the quarantine centre here and instigating others which created some problem for Nodal Officer and others attending their duties.
On receiving information, Tehsildar Doda Shabir Malik, DySP Headquarters Doda Manoj Kumar, and police party from Police Station Doda led by SHO Inspector Muneer Khan and SI Nitin Khajuria immediately visited to the spot and pacified inmates who were also warned that they have violated conditions of Disaster Management Act and they will be booked accordingly.
Later on a written complaint was received from concerned Nodal Officer of Quarantine Centre GDC Doda on which a case under FIR Number 77/2020 under Section 188 IPC and 51 Disaster Management Act has been registered against two inmates of the quarantine centre at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
