LEH, Mar 24: The Union Territory (UT) Administration in Ladakh has ordered the transfer and posting of five police officers, two of them IPS, besides assigning additional responsibilities to two other officers.
As per an order, Vikas Kumar, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as SP Traffic, UT of Ladakh, relieving Altaf Ahmad Shah, Commandant IRP 25th Battalion of the additional charge of the post. Further, Altaf Ahmad Shah has been assigned the additional duties as the Principal of the upcoming Police Training School, UT of Ladakh, till further orders.
The order further said that Nitin Yadav, Deputy SP Headquarters, District Kargil, has been posted as Additional SP Kargil against an available vacancy and Syed Zaheer Abbas, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been deputed to the Prison Department and posted as Senior Superintendent Prisons, UT of Ladakh against an available vacancy.
The officer (Abbas) has also been assigned the additional duties of the Staff Officer to the Director, Fire & Rescue Services, Ladakh and Staff Officer to the Commandant General, CD/HG/UTDRF Ladakh, till further orders.
Govind Rattan, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant IRP 25th Battalion, the order said, adding that the officer has also been assigned the additional charge of SP CD/HG/UTDRF Ladakh, till further orders.
Additionally, Anayatullah, DySP Traffic, District Kargil, has been transferred and posted as DySP Headquarters District Kargil vice Nitin Yadav.
Further, Asif Mustafa, DySP CD/HG/UTDRF Kargil has been assigned the additional charge of DySP Traffic, District Kargil, till further orders.
