JAMMU, Apr 24: State Cabinet today approved promotion of two IPS officers and creation of staff for Heritage Conservation Authority.
The Cabinet, which met this morning at Civil Secretariat, approved promotion of S R Samuel to the Super Time Scale (i)-DIG from January 1, 2013 and promotion of Udaya Bhaskar Billa to the Senior Time Scale with effect from January 1, 2012.
The Cabinet also approved creation of staff for the J&K Heritage Conservation and Preservation Authority. The posts created for the Authority include Chief Conservationist, Conservation Assistant, Accounts Assistant and Orderly.
The move is aimed to make Authority functional and to perform mandatory functions for the implementation of Jammu and Kashmir Heritage Conservation and Preservation Act of 2010.
