SRINAGAR, May 9 : Two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit were arrested by security forces in Budgam today and incriminating material was recovered from their possession.
Police said that yesterday SOG Budgam, 181 batallion of CRPF and 53 RR of Army intercepted a vehicle at a checkpoint in Chadoora area of Budgam.
The vehicle was carrying incriminating material which included JeM posters, some cash and a cipher code sheets.
Two persons Mohammad Lateef Koka son of Ghulam Rasool Koka of Zenipoora, Chadoora and Sahil Manzoor Waza son of Manzooor Ahmad Waza of Wathoora Chadoora wree arrested. Police said that both the accused are involved in providing shelter and logistic support to the JeM militants.
A case (FIR No: 71/2020) has been registered under relevant provisions of UAPA.
